Federally incorporated as the Canadian Federation of Amateur Baseball, Baseball Canada is the national governing body for baseball in Canada. BC Baseball Umpires
As the name indicates, B.C. Baseball Umpires Association represents the umpires that officiate our games. BCBUA is focused on delivering training programs for its umpires as well as setting guidelines and codes of conduct for the men in blue.
BC Premier Baseball League
In the fall of 2003, Kelowna Minor Baseball submitted an application to enter a team into the B.C. Premier Baseball League. Although this application was spearheaded by KMBA, it was actually a combined effort with Rutland Minor Baseball. Both associations realised they would need to work together to deliver a viable application and eventually a competitive 18U team. In early November of the same year, BCPBL announced the acceptance of two new teams into their ranks for the upcoming 2004 season: the Kelowna Cubs and the Penticton Thunder. The Kelowna Cubs will draw players from Kelowna, Rutland and throughout the Central and Northern Okanagan and as far North as Prince George.
